• On March 17/18 2009, the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre organizes its annual conference in Lunteren. The meeting will offer a lively programme and includes keynote lectures of international guest speakers, workshops, oral presentations of NBIC projects as well as posters, demonstrations of software applications, exchange of bioinformatics vacancies and candidates CV’s, and NBIC Café.

• April 15-17 2009, the fifth Annual progress Meeting of the Ecogenomics Consortium will be organized at Trippenhuis Amsterdam (Kloveniersburgwal 29). The 15th is reserved for coordinators and WP leaders, on the 16th Ecogenomics Consortium presentations are central, and the 17th is NERO-day.
